RoHS – Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive

RoHS, also known as Lead-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. It aims to help reduce damage to people and the environment in third-world countries where much of today’s “high-tech trash” ends up.
Admotec Precision products are compliant with the RoHS directive.

REACH – Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals

REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals [1]. REACH entered into force in 1 June 2007, with a phased implementation over the next decade. The current list of chemicals that fall into the scope of REACH can be found here.
Admotec Precision is not using any chemicals that fall under REACH in the production of our products.
