Admotec's
magnetic
encoders offer a rugged alternative to traditional optical encoders.
Because they do not need the high level of protection from light, dust,
oil, etc. that optical encoders do, they are supplied as a magnetic
wheel and a separate magnetoresistive sensor assembly. This
allows Admotec encoders to be more easily integrated into your product
without the need of bulky and failure-prone mechanical
couplings, bearings, seals, etc. And the small size of Admotec's
magnetic encoders means less space is required than with traditional
enclosed optical encoders.

magnetic encoders are the first high
performance 1Vpp analog sine/cosine output magnetic encoders.
KA
encoders can operate with a large (up to 3mm) airgap between wheel and
sensor allowing easy, non-critical “plug and play”
assembly to your machine or motor. Common binary, angular, and decimal
